Extracting Forceps English Pattern

English pattern forceps are designed so that the fulcrum is closer to the working end, providing greater leverage, easing extraction. All Extraction Forceps can be serrated unless otherwise indicated. Extraction Forceps English Patterns are used in veterinary dental procedures to extract molars, premolars, roots, canines, wisdom teeth, incisors, etc. without hurting the encompassing structure. They have differently shaped jaws that are strong and grip these teeth firmly.They have three basic components. They are beak, hinge and handle. Beak: It is the functional working end of forceps which contacts the teeth.
